From Top 10 Hottest Guy Cities: Colorado Snags Three Spots On The List
(Read More...)Colorado, and more specifically Colorado men, have something to brag about.
TotalBeauty.com just ranked three Colorado cities, Boulder, Fort Collins and Denver in its Top 10 Hottest Guy Cities list.
According to the Daily Camera the list was compiled by data-crunching rather than people-watching.
They used census data and surveys on income, education and fitness levels, as well as rates of drinking, smoking and sexual activity to determine which cities had the most attractive men, at least in theory. The list ranked Boulder's men the second hottest in the country, with Fort Collins coming in fourth and Denver seventh. Pretty impressive for the Centennial State.
Apparently Boulder's Smarts catapulted it near the top of the list:
Although the men of Boulder have plenty of qualities that make them eye candy (think: non-smokers, moderate drinkers, healthy bodies), they're also tops on our list for their cerebral attributes. It's the no. 1 smartest city, according to a Forbes survey. Simply put: they're highly educated, and few things are sexier than an intelligent man, right?

Help

Who was first on the list? I'm packing my bags as we speak…went to those links to find out who was tops cuz you know, I can't settle for second best…GOL…*
If all of the Boulder men are like you, Matthew,
they are sizzling hot and crazy cool!
XOXO
Number one was Bethesda, Maryland:
Hahaha… thanks LB! Hopefully, I'm one of a kind ;)
Yes, that is what I was going to point out, ~Matthew. The article implies you have a lot of competition, but you are one of a kind, and besides, you don't operate via statistics, you operate via energy. It's a different world.
Military and government men are attractive thereby? I live in a different world……
Besides, the climate there sucks….
Lovenhugs,
OM Bastet
I totally agree, OM :)
Hey maybe we should take photographic trip to find out “How Hot They Really Are” !!! Matthew is only the tip of the ice burg…
Tip of the iceb… what????? Hey!!! What's that supposed to mean?? LOL!!
Hey meaning that you are, to those around you, are shinning your bright light…
Ohhhhh, is THAT what it means? hahahaha.
Hi all, Matthew, I would like to know what are considered “bad habits” in the test please. And I feel I have to remark that “we all have one thing in common, we're all one of a kind”
I think bad habits are stuff like smoking and drinking excessively.
I can think of just a few more habits that a partner might not like.
ROTFL.
OM
Well, women are notoriously intelligent when it comes to naming annoying qualities in men…
u b funny and u b correct!!! gol…*
Funny and correct = sense of humor + intelligence = attractive. Is that what you're saying, star? ;)
Oh man, we all have bad habits. Don't think there's a partner without. Just depends on what kind of bad habits really bothers a person. One person's bad habits is another person's nirvana. I think. Maybe.
Hahahah… yeah, that's probably true Kathy. But I think, from reading the article, that they're talking about the habits that make you unhealthy and likely to die sooner, such as smoking, drinking too much, and being lazy :)
well, eer, um, sure!!!
u don't eat ur boogers do u?
Not on purpose.
Let me just express my outrage over the fact that Lakewood, CO has been overlooked! What about all the hotties in Lakewood, huh? Oh yeah, sure we don't have a university to boost up the intelligence quotient. But, we are right at the base of the foothills. Which means we've got some great trails for exercising our healthy bodies. And, um, er, wait a minute ….
I'm married, so I guess it doesn't really matter.
Nevermind
(a la Emily Littela)
I think Gia got it right !!!!
Yeah, so true. Everyone has downsides. Kathy's right: with maturity comes the knowledge of which ones you can stand to live with, and which ones are intolerable. Sometimes it takes a few examples to figure that out, haha.
Being lazy makes you die sooner??? Do you have the stats on that??? LOL !!
OM
Funny, Marc. Yeah… what do you care?? Hahaha.
You're too kind Gia! (and Om).
But at least one of my female friends agrees. She told me today I'm one of the top 5 hottest guys in Boulder. LOL!!
LOL! Sorry Gia, I must laugh! She is needing/wanting a man in a much older age range than where I fit :) gol!
Oh, (you so and so man in my dreams)…..have I got news for you!! This Canuck man a mine travel's much to Boulder. Yes, Hubie basically breath's the same air as you, (you yummy'kn's) when he travels for his seminars, and for that matter…… that's all I have t'a say!! So there!
Did I just say that out loud……hee-hee.
Rita! I'm laughing reading your comment. But somehow I am unable to interpret it!! Are you basically just saying that your husband likes to visit Boulder?
Yes, and yes he's always being invited there for business stuff……hey wait a minute! “Just how hot Are these girls over there, any way!”
Man….and here i thought I had all the action going on (in my dreams:)
…..giggles
LOL, Rita! The girls here are generally in very good shape. Sometimes I get passed by them when I'm going up Mt. Sanitas as fast as I can. But I'm not sure if Boulder women would make the list for hottest women in America. I think probably the number one hottest woman is someone who commutes back-and-forth between Italy and California.
Gia, I've not heard of a May/December romanza. What is that?
~Matthew,
It refers to when two people of different “seasons” (aka ages) date each other. In English we call it a Spring/Winter Romance, spring being the age of youth and winter being the age of, um, well closer to death.
Oh, I see. Interesting.
This must be on the “hottest blog” list for number of comments per day, LOL!!!
I think ~Matthew was saying it's the older lady who's not into May-December romance. But there certainly are plenty of successful ones, with both gender combinations. But they do have their special challenges.
I myself, being not closer to death, but chronologically perhaps early November, prefer men who are fully grown up, which IMO doesn't happen til they are over 50. 55 is the ideal age. But 47 does have its magic, too. By 65, unfortunately, most men think they are old and act old. Phooey on that.
But, when Love bursts into flame, age is not one of the considerations.
Hugs, OM
Again, OM, I agree with you (well, almost everything you've just said). I would also like to point out that I won't date a woman simply because she thinks I am one of the hottest guys in my city. For me, there's more than that required for attraction. LOL.
do tell more Matthew…gol*
GOL, starlight! What? And ruin the mystery???
ubcruel…
You don't like a good mystery????
but i want a cookie…
If you guess correctly, you get a cookie, starseed.
do all the men in Boulder cook, and dance as well as you do Matthew? (;
Some even better, smiling!! :)
happy to see Cathy's comment on nirvana/bad habits, I so agree and this is why I asked what they were
