October Begins Today!

The smell of Fall is drowning me in memories. The activities of Autumns past float through my present recollection. Things have changed; they continue to do so. But the wind still blows. The leaves still drop. The clouds still decorate the sky.
I will be turning 30 this month--in just three short weeks. The 20's have been a time for me to truly become an adult. I have been tested. Emotionally. Physically. Psychologically. Spiritually. I still feel so young... but somehow also very old.
My body is a drop in the ocean. One day, it will disappear. But if the Love that flows through it makes a deep enough impact to those around me, then the ripples that it creates will be experienced long after it is gone.

October (in our hemisphere), Autumn is about change, isn't it? Everywhere nature points us to the reality of it. It's about taking stock, about preparation, and yes, about remembering. October has a way of drowning me in memories too. And through it all:
the wind still blows. The leaves still drop. The clouds still decorate the sky.
And life goes on…
Happy October Matthew (()) Every age brings new experiences, each season brings a different kind of beauty…
Birthdays ought to last a whole month, so here's a wish for a most deliciously wonderful day to celebrate your life, which I do !!! And may the year ahead add to your wisdom, through joy.
For me, October is the month of my sister, born October 18, died on October 12 (some years later, of course.) And the month of pouting because it's getting colder. But also, of course, special clouds, lovely colors, harvest abundance. And a switch of wardrobe, of course, which us ladies do enjoy.
Anyway, thank you for a most poetic, philosophical, and personal note. You are Love and you are loved!!! And you better believe the impact you have, including through Gaia, to thousands upon thousands. Gawd !!!!
