Relax With the Friday Five

1) What do you love to do in your free time?
I love being around people.  Chatting.  Shooting the breeze.  I can enjoy this activity either in a relaxed environment or something more exciting like on a hike.

2) What music helps you relax?
I don't use music to relax.  I just relax.

3) What movie did you enjoy recently?
Kung Fu Panda.  I've seen it twice now.  I love this line: "The past is history.  The future? A mystery.  But right now is a gift.  That is why it is called 'the present'."  I'm paraphrasing, but it went something like that.  God, I love Jack Black.

4) Who makes you laugh?
My family and friends know how to crack me up!

5) Where do you go/ do to recharge? 
Ironically, I unplug to recharge.  I just stay away from the computer for a while!

Express Your Friday Five!

1) How do you like to express yourself? (words, actions, writing, song?)
Pantomime!  And speaking, and writing, and doing, and not doing, and dance! (see photo).

2) What songs/ music inspires you?
It varies.  Currently, I'm inspired by silence more than music.

3) Do you like museums?
Sort of.  I mean, I like to make fun of what's in museums.  And that's fun.  But I don't like to offend.  So, it's kind of a catch-22.

4) What is your favorite color(s)?
Kind of a dark tealish aqua-blue, I think.  But I like the interplay of different colors more than any one color. 

5) What kind of art or décor do you have at home?
Paintings, statues, weaved fabrics, a fountain, a real (fake) Christmas tree.
