The Daily Bounce: ~Matthew - Nine Months

So, I might as well just come out and say it. Yesterday, I failed. There were enough distractions (helping out at Gaia Film Festival, hanging out with visitors, working on homework for the class I'm taking this summer, etc.) that it slipped my mind to hop on the rebounder yesterday. And yesterday was the nine month mark exactly. I carried this baby for nine months!
Well, I'm disappointed I didn't reach my goal after making it this far. But... I did make it nine months. And I guess that's an accomplishment in its own right.
Moving on... my new committment will be to maintain a daily or near-daily rebounding practice. The daily bounce helps to relieve stress and frame the day for success (that is, when I bounce in the mornings, I carry a sense of accomplishment with me throughout the day).
And that's that.
Good luck to all of you in your own daily practices!

Congratulations on 9 solid months of rebounding every single day!
You've not failed in my eyes—You have done remarkably well! I remember when you conceived this project and wishing you well with it oh so long ago, it seems.
How does your body feeel as the result?
Keep on jumping–and be gentle with yourself!
Love,
Mary
Thanks, Mary! I appreciate that. My body feels better. And my mind feels better. I think rebounding is a good practice for me. I will continue with it :)
Hugs,
~M
Congratulations Matthew. 9 mounths is still a major accomplishment. I know I couldn't have done it. Think about it you've been bouncing long enough to have carried a baby to term. Of course I'm not trying to say a man having a baby is a pretty picture though. Congratulations are still in order.
Thanks John. And it was cool to see you in Boulder!
Great work, Matthew! (I once did 45 minutes for 45 days, but I don't think I've ever bounced 9 months, every day, for certain)
For those who want to hear a little bit more about Matthew's changes and feelings on his experiment, you can check out the audio interview I did with him here:

Best Bouncing to All of You!

Matthew, I just thought of you as somebody from Boulder bought a Bellicon rebounder from me and I told her about you. Then I checked out your blog and I was so astonished to see that it is already 9 months that you are bouncing!!!! How wonderful. You really REALLY did an do a great job. I have never bounced so regularly and I have about five Bellicon rebounders in my house - every room has one…. So, really well done!!!!! Sylvia
:)
