The Daily Bounce: ~Matthew - DAY 128

In my last entry, I mentioned that I was picking up the book, Fantastic Voyage: Live Long Enough to Live Forever. I will mention here that I've since read that book and am incorporating some of its advice into my daily life, including drinking alkaline water and eating NO sugar. (I will probably make an exception to that second thing on my dad's 60th birthday, when I will likely be served pie for dessert).
I would also like to mention that my wife is bouncing pretty much daily, now, too. She mainly uses the Urban Rebounder and follows along with the cardio exercises that come with the dvd. And I must say, she looks is fit as a fiddle.

Congratulation!!!
I must say eating no sugar is a tough one, I would have problems with that, I would even cheat.
LOL, riet!!!
Do you really think the alkaline water makes a difference? Isn't that whole thing on the “fads and fallacies” watch list?
As for no sugar…that is impressive. I can get behind “90% less sugar,” I think, but no sugar, well, that would mean no chocolate pretty much. (I can tolerate chocolate up to 85%, but anything over that it's just too bitter for me. My favorite is 73%.)
And thanks for the interview, Matthew. I'll try to post it soon.
And congrats on all your hard work! And soft work! And good results. You are a model for many.
I researched alkaline water quite a bit before I tried it. Here's a link that cites some of the research behind it: http://www.ionmicrowater.com/kurzweil.htm
My answer is, I don't know if it really works. But, like with rebounding, there may not be a panoply of double-blind, placebo-controlled tests to back up all the claims. Instead, I go forward with it more as an experiment. I can't say that the results I feel are necessarily indicitave; I'll leave that to researchers. But I don't need all the research to be in, in order to experiment, myself. I've been having fun with it, and my preliminary feeling is that “yes” it does seem to be contributing positively. Please feel free to run the experiment yourself!

Matthew,
Sounds good. What's the best, most effective, and most economical way to proceed with it? Are there multiple vendors? How does it work?
I'm not sure what the answer is for most economical. Maybe see if you can find someone in your area with an ionizer, and take it from there…
