zJournal: Beginnings

I landed on Zaadz Dec. 19, 2005. I lived in Pittsburgh, PA. It was just over one month since I met Brian Johnson at Integral Institute's ILP. I think we said little more than three words to each other. I was sitting on a couch during a break between sessions. I think I was talking to Korenna. Brian was sitting across from me typing on his laptop. Korenna asked, "Have you met Brian yet?"
I said, "No." Turning to Brian, "Hi."
Brian replied with a smile, "Hi. What's up?"
That was pretty much the end of it.
I get tears in my eyes when I remember how so many little events have unexpectedly changed my life.
I remember contacting ~C4Chaos for the first time. I'd seen his name mentioned (he was going by "coolmel" at the time) quite a few times by integral people I had much respect for. I didn't know what to say... "Hey, everywhere I go, it seems there you are. My name is Matthew. Care to join my friends network?"
He replied in a compassionate and witty way... demonstrating a unique personality I have come to love and cherish in friendship.
Life is amazing. The happiness, sadness, anger, joy, sorrow, transitory nature of it all...
I'm not going to end with a point here. This is a work in progress. Embracing Life and Emptiness is where I'm at. It's painful and blissful. I Love the Kosmos. I cry.

“Embracing Life and Emptiness is where I'm at. It's painful and blissful.”
There's just this glow around you when you're in that space, and when you pass someone on the street you both smile. It's just so amazing! And yeah, sometimes it is painful but you bear the unbearable and your heart breaks and then it expands even more
Thanks for sharing, it's like getting a big hug from a friend that you haven't seen for awhile.
Namaste
