Pronouncing Zaadz

Probably the most mispronounced word on our website is, ironically, the name of the site itself. To pronounce Zaadz— from the Dutch word for “seed”—please use the following guidelines:
- Learn Dutch (in particular learn how to say “seed”)
- When telling someone that you found this really cool site on the internet, make sure NOT to use either of the following limericks, as they contain mispronunciations:
I visited a website called Zaadz
It was full of wonderful lads
I took off my coat
And then cast my vote
On a site without dimpled chads
I love using limericks as aids
When pronouncing words such as Zaadz
Although you might say
I pronounce the wrong way
I only repeated two grades - Practice going to the doctor. When you stick out your tongue, say “Zaaaaahhhhhhhhdzz."

That’s silly, I’ve always known how to pronounce Dutch word for seed. Although, I also find it strange that the spell check option on Zaadz doesn’t consider Zaadz or Zaadzster a word! Clearly these terms contain very specific and important meanings in english. What’s up with that?

I always think of the old Who album, Odds and Sods, when I see the word, Zaadz. But I’m weird like that!

Hey guys - this has been one of my MAJOR efforts getting the word out - I'm Dutch so for once in my life I know I'm right -haha-!!!
I felt I couldn't correct the pronounciation when we had a Zaanghas 1st meet-up but I had to bite my tongue. So glad you came up with the doctor AAA Matt -thanks - it works and will be fun to use when telling people!!!!
