"You're Hired!"

Yesterday, I had breakfast with Brian here in Boulder. After a couple hours of hanging out with him, Aaron, and Ryan, he decided to drop a "dream-job-come-true" bomb on me and asked me to head up the ambassador's program here on Zaadz. I'm also supposed to help write the Zaadz manifesto and continue with the writing I've already begun on Zaadz as AQAL...
So, Obi gave us a good intro as to what an ambassador is... "An Ambassador is your quintessential Zaadzster: someone who’s fired up about changing the world by living at his/her highest potential and inspiring and empowering others to do the same. This sexy person is active in the Zaadz community and is getting excited reading this. :)"
"Living at your highest potential and inspiring and empowering others to do the same" is going to include some evidence. That is, as ambassadors, I'd like to see us take on projects. There are a lot of life coaches, yoga instructors, bloggers, etc. out there on our site who are at the critical mass stage of being ready to usher in the gifts of their high-level-consciousness talent. Wouldn't it be awesome if we, as ambassadors, helped them achieve their dreams? That's going to be a huge part of what I envision as the ambassador's program. With all of us putting our heads together to ensuring the success of our community, I feel sorry for anyone who would try to stop us.
So, here's what I'm thinking: once our thinktank site is a little more user-friendly, I'd like us to start working on finding projects. Then we'll post the projects on the site and we'll get people to volunteer as project managers and support personnel. We'll regularly post progress reports and have celebrations when we acheive our goals. How does that sound, as a start?

Matt I am just so happy to have you on board! And like mscaprikell I say: this was inevitable! In fact, this whole trip to Boulder, meeting with Ken etc was just an elaborate cover for coming to offer you the the position in person!

Definitely keep me posted about the project idea. I have a lot of internal resistance about joining projects–especially online communities for whatever reason–but I also know that my favorite coaching clients are the kinds of people that would also like zaadz.
I know there is some sort of potential partnership here, but right now I’m clueless as to what it is!
…oh, and congrats again on the job. I’m thrilled to see you working at something you love.

the biggest thing we’re going to be able to do for you, Sir Duff, (and perhaps what I am most excited about with everything we’re doing) is to evolve our tools to help you build your business. It’s gonna be sweet to help you develop your relationships with your clients and prospects with our tools–from the sweet pods discussions you’ll have going on with your clients and friends to your regular newsletters (via mass zaadz mailing to your contacts) to simple contextual ads in Zaadz Local Pro/Conscious Yellow Pages…can’t wait!
